Cedar Guest House Maraetai

More space in Maraetai…

A beautiful guest house to compliment the main dwelling just moments away from Maraetai Beach.

The owners wanted to create a space for guests to relax in their own private area away from the main home, keeping in line with the property’s main theme.

The house also has its own private garden area and deck to relax in and is built above a spacious 3 car garage for all the toys.

In addition to the guest house, we also built a carport to match the main home and a stunning fence line across two properties.

The Details

The guest house consists of two bedrooms, open plan living and kitchen, a bathroom and is built with Cedar cladding and Architectural Tray Deck roofing.

The gardens and outdoor area were designed by Jane McGiffie from By Design Landscapes and Architects.

This project was completed in unison with the neighbours landscaping so the fence line was designed with both properties in mind to create street appeal.

We used 150x35m premium pine decking fixed horizontally and fixed with decorative stainless fixings.
